Men’s Open Athletes to Watch

Below are Men’s Open competitors likely to contend for the podium:

Rafael Brandao

The weekend’s main event is the Men’s Open event. Rafael Brandao aims to win his second Arnold South America title in Sao Paulo. His first win came in 2022.

Brandao is coming off a third-place finish in the 2024 Arnold Classic in Columbus, OH. Many fans and insiders consider him the favorite to win this event.

Tonio Burton

The 2023 New York Pro winner seeks another respected title for his trophy case. Tonio Burton ranked eighth at the 2023 Mr. Olympia in Orlando, FL.

Being considered a top-10 bodybuilder in the sport means Burton is a top contender for almost any non-Olympia show. The matchup between “The Predator” and Brandao is one fans look forward to.

Jonathan Delarosa

Jonathan Delarosa has been playing the role of spoiler for several athletes in Arnold Classic shows in 2024. He ranked fourth in Columbus, OH, and at the Arnold Classic UK in Birmingham, England.
