2024 Kim Junho Classic Pro Bodybuilding Show Results

Classic Physique and Men’s Physique were featured in Seoul, South Korea.

The 2024 Kim Junho Classic Pro occurred on Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Seoul, South Korea. This event featured two IFBB Pro League divisions, Classic Physique and Men’s Physique, and the contests for those divisions had 2024 Olympia qualifications that would be awarded to the winners.

The winners were Hyun Seok Lee (Classic Physique) and Jinbo Li (Men’s Physique). They have joined the rest of the qualified field to compete in Las Vegas, NV, on the weekend of Oct. 10-13, 2024.

The final finishing order for both contests is below:

Classic Physique

  1. Hyun Seok Lee (South Korea)
  2. Kai Liu (China)
  3. Zhaonian Xu (China)
  4. Kai Wang (China)
  5. Sand Mog Li (South Korea)
  6. Lihsuan Liu (Taiwan)

Men’s Physique

  1. Jinbo Li (China)
  2. Mengyl Liu (China)
  3. Zerul Li (China)
  4. Yiming Wei (China)
  5. Ajith Raja (India)
  6. Woo Young Seo (South Korea)
  7. Jian Song (China)
  8. Ro Woon Lee (South Korea)
  9. Gunseung Lee (South Korea)
  10. Seungmu Lee (South Korea)

*Gantulga Altankhuyag was on the roster but did not compete. No reason was given for his absence.

Classic Physique Winner — Hyun Seok Lee

Lee’s last showing before this contest was at the 2023 Tokyo Pro, where he placed sixth. He made substantial improvements to take his first pro win and first Olympia qualification at this show.

Lee received all first-place votes on the judges’ scorecards. The head judge for the show was Steve Devore. Kai Liu took second in this contest, and bronze was awarded to Zhaonian Xu of China.

Men’s Physique Winner — Jinbo Li

This is Li’s second professional win. His first came at the 2022 Japan Pro. Like the Classic Physique winner, Li received a perfect score and is now qualified for the 2024 Men’s Physique Olympia, where he will make his Olympia debut. Mengyl Liu and Zerul Li placed second and third, respectively. 

Other Notes

Bodybuilding fans in South Korea will not have to wait long for the next show. The AGP Pro Classic Physique event is slated for May 26, 2024, in Gyeonggi State, South Korea. The contest winner will also qualify for the 2024 Olympia if he had not previously qualified.
