Vinicius Mateus Viera Lima Wins 2024 Musclecontest Brasilia Pro Men’s Physique Show

[ad_1]

Vinicius Mateus Viera Lima is going to the 2024 Olympia.

Vinicius Mateus Viera Lima is the 2024 Musclecontest Brasilia Pro Men’s Physique show champion. The IFBB Pro League show was held in Brasilia, Brazil, on Saturday, May 5, 2024. It featured nine Brazilian pros vying for qualification to the 2024 Olympia in Las Vegas, NV, on Oct. 10-13, 2024. That qualification now belongs to Lima.

Emerson Costa finished as the runner-up, and Felipe Gonclaves won the bronze. The full final results are available as they were shown on the scorecards:

Winner — Vinicius Mateus Viera Lima

Lima made his Men’s Physique Olympia debut in Orlando, FL, in November 2023 but placed outside the top 15. This was his first pro show since, and he made the most of the opportunity. However, it was not easy, as he and Costa were separated by just one point on the judges’ scorecards

Lima has the luxury of taking the rest of the season off until the 2024 Olympia. Should he compete again and win a pro show, he would block that pro show’s Olympia qualification from being awarded. Only pro show champions advance to the Olympia in 2024.

Second Place — Emerson Costa

This was Costa’s pro debut; an impressive start to his bodybuilding career. Costa can take the momentum of a one-point margin to gold with him into future pro shows. He has until Sept. 15, 2024, to win a pro show to reach the 2024 Olympia stage.

Third Place — Felipe Gonclaves

This was also Gonclaves’ IFBB Pro League debut. He proved he could compete with the upper ranks, scoring a podium finish out of the gate. He has a lot of future potential and fans should expect to see him capitalize on it in the relatively near future.
