Dr. Imani brings more than two decades of leadership in clinical research and development, medical scientific affairs, and drug safety (PV&RM) in the United States and the Netherlands. He has amassed his experience during roles at many notable industry leaders, including Senior Medical Director at Abbott Laboratories, Associate Medical Director at Forest Research Institute, a Subsidiary of Forest Laboratories, Inc., Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc., and OSI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and most recently as Executive Medical Director at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Amgen Inc.
Robert has led global product development teams in 3 regions around the globe from proof of concept to marketing authorization and LCM of blockbuster assets after successful launch (e.g. Kyprolis, Blincyto, Tarceva, Nexavar, Lupron, Orilissa, and more than 10 other approved compounds).
Led Phase I, Phase IIa, and IIb, and late-stage Phase III and IV clinical trials. Previously served as Executive Medical Director, medical lead, and medical monitory and safety officer at Allergan (FRX), OSI Oncology, Neurocrine, and Daniel Den Hoed Cancer Center.
